I know that my favorite is "The Fame" off of her first album. I love the 70's style guitar and the satirical lyrics about wanting fame, money and glamour.

My favorite ong by Lady Gaga is Telephone. That my favorite because i can not find one thing i dont like abou the song, i also cant tell you a specific reason wh i like that song because i love evrything about it, the beat the lyrics,the tone of her voice, its just very catchy, fun to dance to, and entertainig to listen to her amazing voice.

ReplyDeleteI just think it is so unique. It is catchy but also is the epitome of the Lady Gaga "edginess." It shows how she can blend a very poppy style with her own brand of darkness to create something totally unique.
Also, "He ate my heart and then he ate my brain." ;)
My fav. Lady Gaga song is Just Dance. It is the first song I ever heard from her and I think it has a fun, party vibe to it. And Ellen loves to play it on her TV show.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite song by Lady Gaga would have to be Poker Face, I just love the beat. It's a song I will never get tired off. I love the music video, it's so interesting...but most of songs and music videos are really interesting.

ReplyDeletePoker Face. It's easily her catchiest song. The beat is incredible. I think the verses are so mediocre in comparison to the chorus which is the most energetic part of the song. I almost feel as if she intentionally made the verses annoying so that chorus stands out that much more, making the listener just wait for the chorus to hit before the song really gets good again. I feel a lot of her songs are like this.

ReplyDeleteI admit, I was a Gaga hater in the beginning. I thought anyone who wore those insane outfits while putting pointless syllables (ra ra ra roma) in a song was just crazy. But then I realized how truly unique and different she was, and fell in love with her. I love 'Speechless' because it is very different from her Pop style, and the song can speak to so many people. Everyone can relate to it at times and it is just a beautiful song.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a Lady Gaga fan. I have to admit I haven't listened to her much, but I don't like the loud electronic style that modern pop music has become, and Lady Gaga seems to be an extension of that style. I also don't like many female vocalists, but that's just a personal preference.
